Default Fitting 04 horns on an 03

anyone done this and if so is there any special tips i need to know - i can see one horn at the bottom right of the engine bay but im not sure where the other horn is - is it behind the front bumper somewhere?

afaik the 04 horns are a direct replacement with no wiring needed - that correct?

Behind the bumper, in front of the rad, take the air con cover off and it is down there.

Not much benefit swapping 03 for 04 horn imho, get some air horns

Or even a brace of the Fiamm electrics!

Mind you, you should run in a relay & line down to the front in either case.

The 04 horn is a bit louder, but if you hold it down for more than about a second, one of the horns gives up and you get a nasty weedy noise!

I put air horns on my MY01.. it was bloody hard work and unless you're Eddie Scissorhands you may have to take off the bumper..

There has got to be an after market bit of kit that is better sounding and a direct replacement

Cheer up, Spring is on the way, though stuttering a bit this long weekend, soon be nice light evenings aswell, soon feel the difference.

Off to have a small blast before everyone wakes up. Just about tipping the vtec now, up to 7k rpm .....
