I bought a Kinetic DRA-6003 aerial yesterday and had a quick look this morning at how I would install it. Looks pretty straight forward.

Still not sure which DAB head unit I will get but will most likely stick with Alpine and get the CDE-136BT.

Stop doing things properly! You're letting the side up.

You'll probably need to bond a large body washer under the wing, since the hole is teardrop-shaped. I may still have some around, if you need one.

I noticed your reference to this above. I should already have some suitable big washers .... how did you bond it onto the wing?

JB Weld.

It only really needs to hold it on place to stop it sliding sideways and provide a bit of additional waterproofing, since the rubber seal is sitting on a curved wing profile.

Wonder how Jimbo got on?

I've been using a Pure portable in the BM with good results. I have 2 short duff patches on 20 mile commute

Might eventually do something proper but i'm tempted with a change of car summer next year

Indecisive bastad

If you use JB Weld to hold this washer in how do get the ariel to earth properly on the body work?

Or is this stuff conductive .

Very good question!

I have a recollection that I put an eyelet on a wire between the body washer & the ariel nut. What I did with the other end, I cannot remember. Earthed it to the tail light pole? Or a damper bolt?
