Discs are piss to change.

You need, a jack (you have one), a wheel brace (you have one), an impact driver (maybe) but even if you do, a tenner from Hellfrauds. Thats it.

Its so easy to change discs.

Just loosen the wheel. Jack the car. Remove wheel. Remove caliper, unscrew disc, replace disc, replace caliper, replace wheel, lower jack, tighten wheel.

Its proper idiot easy.
it can be...some people have got the discs off with just a screw driver..but other times it is difficult.

Despite using an impact driver, penetrating oil.. I still had to drill and extract the screws holding my discs on.

so clearly graybloke isn't braking anywhere near late or hard enough

From the varied comments here, I'm glad the dealer did it form me. How many times have you started an "easy" job, only for it to tit$ up

I will do basic mechanical jobs, but in my opinion no point in tinkering with brakes, my life depends on them

The brakes on the 'S' are very easy to change! very basic mechanical job! Takes about 20-30 mins front or rear.

Wouldn't trust the Muppets at my local stealers to even wash my car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe

if you had no speed limits like here, you'd be doing plenty of that...and heavy braking

Some disks drift off easily.

Sometimes they are corroded on and you have to heat them/twat them with a big hammer.

I'm too lazy these days.

Maybe there's nothing in it, but I'd rather buy Honda parts and pay the extra - more money than sense that's me
You obviously dont know car manufactures then.

They will be exactly the same parts.

All made in the same factory just with different brand stamps and packaging.

Then your dealer charges you stupid prices.
