I think today is the first day I've driven the S when the roads have been completely dry and not freezing cold.

What a fantastic machine. I ended up doing 30 miles just going to get Optimax (2 miles away) and only came back because it started to rain.

BTW The fantastic throttle response is going to take some getting used to after driving turbo cars for the last 4 yrs.

Roll on summer

I did this coming back from a client meeting in Peterborough, I took a detour through Melton Mowbray and then all the back routes. I added 50 miles to my journey, but it was worth it . It was wet for me though.

My wife never sends me out for pint of milk anymore. Usually takes about 3 hours if the roads/weather is good

I can see that's going to be a problem as the weather gets better Anyone got any good excuses for taking 2 hours to get a pint of milk?

Make the most of it, chaps - the Met Office is forecasting a cold snap, with snow working its way down from the north, during next week.

Predictably, just as the new car arrives and I'll be looking to accumulate 600 rapid miles to get her run in!

At least if the road conditions are awful Mark, you won't be missing too much
