Agree, best time is 6am on a summer sunday. How about a dawn run club?

Jellyfish, enjoy your open roads now, by summer the caravans will provide a challenge
A dawn run sounds a great idea !

Really looking forwards to the summer months now, I never thought about caravans though.
Hopefully they burn out their clutches trying to get up from Cockbridge, I've seen and old bus do the same thing there, lying at the bottom of the hill with a strong smell of burnt asbestos.

Euan, Beardie, some great pictures, any plans for a meet up there again in the future?

If we do go there, we usually do a loop, Perth to Braemar to Tomintoul to Grantown to Laggan top Dalwhinnie, and sometimes back via Rannoch and the Sma' Glen, Auchterarder.

If you keep an eye on the jockmeet thread on here you should see when we are next up - we do tend to only decide when and where to go late on, sometimes on a friday night.

I once followed a Unimog towing a trailer up Cockbridge - the ribbed tyres kept slipping as he struggled to grip on the tarmac. Quite amusing until I appreciated what would happen if he lost total grip
