Default Finally got a proper Clean

Finally got to give my car a full clean, clay bar and polish and oh what a difference it's maded had loads of little bits I wasn't happy on the paint but knew all it needed was some TLC and had enough time to do it on Saturday. Started with a good old fashion wash getting into all the nooks and crannys to get all the built up dirt out, Silicone grease on all of the rubbers (found that 2 water guides on the back of the car were no longer glued on so getting replacemnts for those) then gave it a gentle clay bar with a liquid form, then using an electric polisher went with Meguiars paint cleaner, Deep crystal polish and a coat of Next Gen wax. I know this isn't perfect and at the start of the summer she will be treated to a professional detail and paint correction ready for the shows Thought i'd take some pics before it froze 2 hours later lol ignore my lifting sticker this is due to frost

Me too!

Bet it raises a few smiles!

Not for me, though. Rest of the car looks great.

The sticker is temporary, I am the owner of a local Jap car club and this is one of our club stickers, We are awaiting a new batch but couldn't be without. It is soon being replaced with a more tasteful black chrome one of a smaller size lol.

Dox yes they are, they are 18's thinking that I would prefer some OEM 17's as these are a bit big for my liking but not sure yet. The 255 rear profile doesn't help i don't think

Paintwork looks excellent, good work! Only thing i must say is i think going to oem 17s or even 16s would be an excellent idea. Those alloys let it down a little.

Totally agree, would love a set of OEM 17's refurbed in Black I think it would look immense

The paintwork was in very bad condition and I was a little worried it wouldn't come out well (bonnet was a different colour when under certain light) but it came up amazingly well and this is on the first time of doing it so can only get better

The paint looks amazing for a 10 year old car!!

Wheels are ok, but the rear tyre profile looks a little undersized compared to the chunky fronts? a larger % profile and a little bit of drop would finish it off

Think the profile is lower because of the width, if I dropped them to 245 then I could go a profile bigger, but your right it definately needs a bit of lowering and a black wheel refurb IMO in black if I do keep them. Very impressed with the paint for it's age, not as bad as Honda's usual efforts with black paint as it's in better condition than my 05 CTR
