Sickening how people are allowed to get away with stuff like this.
Id say police should do a paint analysis, cross reference with matching van repairs in the area and hang the criminal !

W ankers that hit and run and nobs with no insurance are my absolute no1 hates.
As feckin' galling as it is I think you would be best to take the pain, claim on your insurance, then go and kick a few trees. Grrrrrrrrr.......

I was sat IN my Omega a year or so back when a couple got into the new mahoosive 4x4 parked next to me
the bloke - who was a typical lard-arse, shaven-headed mong, opened his door hard into the side of my car
didn't even glance at me or my car
next thing the car's started and they're ready to go
fortunately I just had the presence of mind (fuse blew) and time to fling my door open with all my strength into the side of his car
they just drove off

People are getting worse, no one wants to take any responsibility for their own actions anymore!?!?
I hope you manage to get it sorted, it might not be as bad as you think to sort out yourself, depends how bad the rear 3/4 is damaged really, have you got some pictures?
If it makes you feel any better SOMEONE WHO I WORK WITH drove into my S2000 on the works car park and damaged the front right and ####ed off, no one ever owned up to it.
Arse holes, the country is full of them!
