Sorry to hear about your misfortune, I hope it's not as bad as it sounds 
I hate this kind of thing, but I guess since insurance premiums are so high these days nobody would be willing to take a hit
If it helps I know a garage that will do an excellent job at a very reasonable price and they owe me a favour so I can ask them to look after you

Gutted for you mate, it's ahassle and expense that you shouldn't have to have.
It's a shame that the culture these days seems to be "f**k 'em" rather than own up to a mistake. This seems to be worse if you drive a nice car, and even worse if you drive a really nice car (Redun experience and Gad's tale of the Aston), it's almost as if you deserve it for having the temerity to have a nice car.
In summary; Wa**ing twunts.
