Default Feedback on new Eagle F1s

Hi all,

Now had the GSD3s on for 300 miles and thought I'd let you know a little feedback compaired to the S02s.

Weather has been shocking so the I was very pleased to have GSD3s on because they are awesome in the wet / standing water.

However in the dry I've notice how much softer the tyre walls are and subsequently I am getting a lot more UNDER steer!!?? Would you say this is normal or should I get this checked out?

GSD3s have been an old favorite of mine but personally I think I will S02s are a lot better suited to the S2 - hence designed specifically.

Has anyone else recently changed from Bridgestone to Goodyear? If so please let me know your thoughts.

KR James

An 04 car should never have had S02s.

I have used GSD3s and was very happy with them. I used 32psi.

No but i changed from SO2s to 17' RE050s and tyre technology has moved on a long way from SO2s, so much more grip and doesn't feel like it might kill at any second.

Mind you I always liked sliding about in the wet

I thought the general advice was to run them at 34psi to compensate for the softer tyre wall

That was the older GSD2s on 16" wheels (I still have a set of these in my loft).

Yup, mine are at 34 on 18s - the sidewall flex is noticeable on the 16s, but I guess this diminishes as you increase rim diameter. When I was running F1s & Toyos on the 16s I ran them at 34 - 36, you get used to the change from S02s very quickly.

Yeah sorry, meant Bridestone RE050s

So with my slight understeer would you say a higher PSI would lower this?
