I was at Abingdon last week - with motorsport events. What a great airfield circuit. I had my VX dancing around the place, also had a lesson from Neville (teaches at Palmer Sport) who showed me what proper driving was - so smooth, so calm, so little input, but so quick - respect.
I agree with you about Don Palmer, I love his teaching technique, I have learn't so much from the one day I had with him, it still sticks. Could probably do with another, but his pricey. Am tempted by a 1st Lotus day.

I lose control all the time (I usually mean it), but all it does is give me a little jolt of adrenaline and a huge smile.
Lost it in the snow this morning too, but just laughed, corrected, and kept going.

I've been round goodwood in a lotus esprit driven by a professional racing driver and not batted an eyelid as he did his 4 wheel drifts. I had total faith in his abilites. I've also been in my S2000 and bricked myself at low speed with my mate driving. It's all about confidence.

Thats not losing control. That's getting the car out of shape. There's a big difference and when it happens you won't have time to fill your pants you'll be in the hands of the gods
Many people put the S2000 down for having a short temper but in truth it does let you have a lot of fun with it - you just need to keep respect because it gets violent when angry as opposed to verbal!
