I have 2 suggestions for improving the entertainment factor of F1:
1) They blindfold the drivers
2) They get a bunch of trained monkies to drive the cars instead of humans.
Well they've tried all sorts of other things that haven't done anything for the sport so it's gotta be worth a shot. AndI'd definitely watch monkies driving, it'd be great.

I fancy going to see the first race of the A1 series at Brands on 25 September - identical cars, 2 drivers from each country, should be fun!

2) Put the Al Q bombers in the cars
3) Put explosives in each car timed to go off at random intervals
4) Last one driving gets hung, drawn and quartered
5) Offer a raffle to let a number of people take potshots with sniper rifles
I reckon that would up the viewing figures, and the DVD would sell well too. Although possibly not on Al-Jazeera.

Last F1 with tobacco sponsorship too !!
I watch more motorsport than most - and don't smoke at all, James (MrV) smokes like a chimney and doesn't watch anything like as much
Advertising on the cars would only influence the brand I chose, rather than whether I took the product or not.
Sticking Johnny Walker sponsorship on a Mclaren instead of West will not make me drink it! However, beer, petrol, oil and so on choices are influenced by a sponsor putting money into the sport

1. Add ramps - I want to see cars fly Dukes of Hazzard style
2. Put oil slicks on the chicanes
3. Make the drivers use Bridgestone S02s if its a wet race
4. Bring back Murray Walker
You know it makes sense

2. Or allow MGs to race
3. Wouldn't make any difference to the good drivers
4. Do you mean reincarnate?

Kimi is a f*cking legend - I know I keep saying it, but with each race he just cements his position as the greatest driver in F1. Going out FIRST on a complete dusty shit hole of a race track he lays down a beast of a lap (a 1: 20.891) with virtually no mistakes. This proves even more prodigous when the next 6 or 7 drivers faff about like they're driving on ice.
A no doubt light on fuel (but admittedly very quick) Jarno Trulli claws just 5 hundredths of a second out of him 6 laps later on a cleaner track, and Kimi's McLaren team mate, Montoya (some 17 laps later) manages to beat him by a just tenth. Then Schumi shows up with his sticky Bridgestons that I suspect will only be good for around 60% of the race distance shows up and puts a second on the lot of them!
It's fairly obvious that both Kimi and JPM need to get Schumi behind them in the opening laps or he's going to spoil their afternoon. Here's to a McLaren 1-2, and Alonso to find himself in a downwards spiral for a few races.

Young Pedro didn't handle the pressure too well today
I think the start could be key
