See you've got a busy afternoon again Alex

Maybe, just maybe someone will overtake someone else during the race. It may also happen on the track

Very busy Nick, v stressful - been advised by a top time management consultant to take regular breaks from the extreme concentration, so use S2ki.com to help my work

This is F1 we're talking about here Nick, not those silly bikes or Touring Cars where they regularly overtake and have lots of action

I don't expect to see many more overtaking manouvres for the remaining 7 races of this season

I hope they will do something in time to reduce the aero for next year.

why don't we discuss how we can have more entertaining races in future instead.

I am a strong follower that F1 cars should be at the pinnacle of performance but that then leaves us with no overtaking during a race.

I suggest track designs to be reconsidered.

I can't see that happening, there would be too much of a knock on effect for all the other races held at those tracks.

Why not revert to getting a lot of the aero from the bottom of the car ?

Problem solved.

I don't think they will do that either.

The Ferrari designer Ross Brawn was saying this week he thinks they should move away from the reliance on aero for grip, and instead rely on mechanical grip - he should know what he's talking about!

MB has been about this too but the fact remains that this will not happen. Aryton died because of this, I am sure. Mechanical grip is another issues. We can increase that but won't we reduce aero affects as well. Less downforce is not the solution though is it?
