F-1 and Spa

Spa is a great idea - Eau Rouge is very very steep! despite having 300Nm of torque in my Alfa I still had to grab 3rd gear. I would love to try again in the S2000
If you are going to take the time to go to Spa - I would recommend to add a couple of days to the trip and include Nurburgring, which is not so far away. I did a circular tour Brussels - Spa - Nurburgring - Brussels a couple of years ago - I think it was about 400km in all, some great roads in both the Ardennes and Eiffel mountains - you also pass through Luxembourg and go close to the city of Trier if you like to add a bit of Roman culture to your trip.
Nurburgring race circuit is not as "open" as Spa is but normally later in the day they open the old longer circuit to drive (200days per year or so) - after all the latest camoflaged test cars have finished their runs. Nurburgring also has more stuff to do there - there is a pretty up to date museum and car technology centre there.
