Default External Temp Guage.

The new buggy has one of these in the dash(as did my last civic) and wondered how accurate these things are, since it tells you how to adjust it in the handbook so I'm not too hopeful. Anyone any method of testing it.

I was wondering the same

I suppose you could compare it to the temparature on a thermometer outdoors?

How do you adjust it?

Adjust the ambient temp gauge?
I never knew that +or - 3 degrees, eh.

Press the TRIP button for 10 seconds. The following sequence will appear for one second each: 0,1,2,3,-3,-2,-1,0.
When it reaches the desired value, release the TRIP button.

You just need an accurate independent thermometer to calibrate it against.
