Vowel please Carol
I love the sound of the HKS, not heard a Spoon in the flesh. But I'm sure you couldn't go wrong with either. Just depends what noise character you want.
Both seem fruity.

What do you want from the exhaust?
HKS have been known to lose a few ponies, so do you want it for sound or for power gains ?

The Spoon is louder, much louder than the HKS Hi Power. The Spoon is single and lighter and overall of better build quality. The HKS drones a lot, even with a decat.
If you are prepared to spend a little extra, I would recommend buying a Mugen system. MB has one for sale ATM; I suspect it wont be around for long at that price

The Garage R system is mighty fine in my opinion. I'm running the round tips with a decat as well. It sounds incredible, and others have said the same thing. Not too loud, not shouty, good base note and quite a decent ROAR when coupled with the K&N FIPK that is also on the car.
Responsiveness is improved and there is certainly a bit of a better punch at the bottom end. But remember, the stock exhaust system is quite good, if a bit dissapointing ion the noise department, and aftermarket systems will only gain you minimal power and torque. The sound is really the only big difference.
But go with Garage R. The actual manufacturer is also the OEM for Radical. Comes with a lifetime warranty and they are very prompt with sorting any issues if they occur. And Rob at Garage R is a nice bloke, for a northerner.

If you want more horses and a great sound then Skunk2 Megapower (or Invidia N1) Lots of You tube examples to listen to. You will have to put up with the 3-4k drone though! There are dyno run details on the Skunk2 site showing the air intake and eshaust mods plus a re-map getting about 25bhp extra at the wheels I think.
