We should get a bunch of us together and have a meetup to do a bunch of them at once.

Just realised what the exhaust sound reminds me of. When I was younger, some of my mates used to drill holes in their exhaust to make it sound beefier. Has that very same "blowing" sound to it.

If there is gonna be a group modification then I'd be game for it too - good excuse for a get together... we could even all go for a drive afterwards!

There is of course the risk that Ang & Ray would be over whelmed and that wouldn't be fair.

I have a fantastic Welder that did alot of work for me when I was Karting - so I may approach him about doing the welding aspect for me if we don't end up doing it as a group.

Is there a DIY anywhere of how to remove the back box sections of the exhaust?

Without just blatantly jumping on the bandwagon, I'm jumping on the bandwagon!

Would love to do this mod. I don't however know any Tig welders! :-( if someone could suggest somewhere in the east mids who could do this for some of my hard earned cash, let me know!

You must know some very strange people, i've being in or around the motor trade, and hung around with petrol heads for more than 30 years, and never heard of anyone drilling holes in their exhaust's, are you sure it wasn't you, we just stuck on a cherry bomb,,as for the sound as said it was taken on an old mobile in a very narrow street, so the sound will be distorted, but i can asure you it does not sound as if it is blowing, or it would never have got out of the garage, you haven't being drilling hole's in your speakers have you,, on a lighter note how do you make something sound beefy you can make things taste beefy, ,
