Has anyone had theirs out on a track yet? Or at least had a proper DBa reading? It is actually surprisingly loud .

No it's not really mate, had mine done at Oulton for a taster day; passed no sweat, seem to remember it was quite low 67dB or something.

(That was a static test, 30mm id mod, std cat)

I wanna try this, but I'm just afraid it'll sound like a civic with a fart-can. That wouldn't let me sleep at night haha.

I gotta give this a try though. Those videos sounds great.
Lots of these done now,had mine done a while back, love it!

It does not sound like the big bore Civics ! No droning at speed and very subtle at low speed. Vtec is ace !

Sounds best with the top down...mines been down for about three months now...(weather 65 to 85 and no rain for a couple of months!)

Same as me, I have the 30mm id pipe and a decat, maybe it's the decat that is making the difference. I think the standard system is 87db?

I did a track day with Motorsport-Events back in June.

I emailed them earlier tonight and asked them if they keep a record of the dB's they measure.

They do and they've already replied!

My S with a 29mmID/32mmOD exhaust mod recorded a static level of 88.8 dB(A) at 6000rpm and at 500mm from the exhaust.

Maybe I'll remove the centre silencer next!?

I have a standard cat fitted by the way.

I spoke to Fairdeal fabrications for you in Stockport

They will do it but you will need to take your exhaust to them and explain what you want done

£60 to £80
