SCZ4 - I'd be interested in your opinion if you end up with a Decat, I found it embarrassingly Nova-fartcan-like!
I definitely want to avoid that, it's why I was so hesitant about 37mm, but took the risk and turns out I had nothing to worry about. May try the sports cats from Dixon.
Yes, mine's great with the exhaust mod (32mm id) and a standard cat.

It was when I combined it with a decat that things went a bit poop, so just thought I'd mention my experience. My next step is to try a high flow sports cat and see how that sounds.

Keep us posted

Hey Lee what's happened to your sig..looks like MUGGINS has gone missing, is there something you want to share with the rest of us

I will be leaving the exhaust mod club and joining the big boys soon
Only doing it so I can legally get a Mugen sticker

You know what it'll sound like now don't think you'll regret it

Sorry if this has already been answered, but have you guys with the mod declared it to your insurance companies? What did they say?

I don't see the point in declaring this mod to the insurance company. It's still the stock exhaust, only a little bit louder, and it's not adding any power.

I told my insurance. They've just got it down as a non standard exhaust. I'm covered now if anything ever does happen insurance wise and as they have it down as non standard rather than anything specific I can alter it or swap it for an aftermarket exhaust and still be fine.

I removed the exhaust and took it to Clark Motorsport in Kintore, but they'll easily remove it for you, will just cost more.

Give me a shout if you want to hear it, I'm out in Westhill.

No worries, aye i'm down in Drumoak so not far, i assume you just need the backbox for this. I'll have to jack the back of the car up to get if off.

Its not too hard, its just hanging on rubbers and weighs about 30kg so a bit clumbsy to handle
