Hey. I too am looking for someone who has more expertise than me to do this. My local garage quoted me £200 to do this - anybody found anywhere cheaper in the south of England (I'm based in South London)

I take it you supplied the pipe? Do you find 32mm ID significantly louder?

Steve supplied the pipe. Probably charged mates rates as it was the first one he's done so a learning curve for him. With regards to noisei haven't heard any others so can't compare but it's a lot louder than stock but not intrusive. More than happy to take people out for a spin to see how it is.

Finally! After having the mod done in November, I've been able to drive with the roof down!! What a lovely sound. Really does make the car sound so much better now.

Anyone here running the exhaust mod with a high-flow cat'?

My OEM cat' is on its way out, but don't want a test-pipe as it sounds too 'baked-bean tin'...

I am running a japspeed decat. Doesn't sound like a tin can, just a little louder.

Cheers Ratty, I see that the Japspeed one has a built in resonator, maybe that makes some difference?

I tried the Berk Technology 63.5mm test-pipe with my modded exhaust and it was awful; couldn't get through 3k rpm without alerting all within a 5 mile radius that a Corsa-boy was on his way!.......or MSC
