Nice job Any chance of a video clip?
I've only just managed uploading photos, i haven't got a video camera, and my phone is to old,
Great job! ...it's a shame you cannot record video/audio for us as that'd really show what difference it's made.

How long did this take? And could it have been done with the exhaust in situ?
I'm wondering how much it'd cost for those not fortunate enough to be able to DIY...

Nice one looks like the way forward for a subtle nice exhaust without the expense.

sorry not very good with all this modern stuff, like Internet, mobiles etc,

it may be poss to do in situ but it's only 2Min's to get exhaust off and makes job a lot more easy.

cost wise depends where you are in the country and labour rates, took us less than 1 hour,

yea i like the no expense as it's the one thing that has being bugging me since i got the S, but a after market exhaust is so expensive if it is to loud or drones as some seem to, i defo think i should have gone for a bigger bore link pipe though, the Z4 link pipe cuts out the box completely but this way it still runs through to centre pipe and still gets some silencing, so the pipe needs to be bigger, Ray was worried about the dreaded drone but it sounds like we won't get any, i will run it around this week and see

If you go bigger but add a flanged joint in the middle of the pipe you could fit restrictor plates between the flanges and fine tune the sound

I'm going to modify my standard system at work next week in the same way with the bigger tube.

Also going to make a decat pipe, i chopped the silencer out of the B pipe on my Dc2 and welded in an unsilenced section and that made it 'almost' too loud, so going to make up a decat, do this mod and see how it goes!
