I do like my single (people certainly move out the way when I put my foot down), but then I love the look of a twin too.
Let us know how it turns out. I'm currently planning to pop up to see Ang and Ray early June to get it done but if I can get it done locally for not too much wedge it would save me money in the long run as I wouldn't have to drive a 300 mile round trip.

I like the way people are using bigger and bigger pipes for it, soon it'll be the same diametre as the exhaust itself

Well the pipe is 35mm by the time it narrows to the silencers, so it's pointless going any bigger than that as I understand it...

Which then begs the question, why not bypass the innards of the back boxes (well the loop bit) completely...

The gas will always follow the path of least resistance.

From the picture on an earlier page of the backbox cut in half, this mod pretty much does. Well most of it for very little work - not perfect, but it's a quick and easy solution.

Ang and Rob, since there's been a bit of interest in the 65Pro it's looking like the OEM is going to be back on very soon. If there's a couple of people coming over to yours would it be possible to sneak in as well as I'm only across the border? I'll smuggle some glengettie tea across too!

You might as well bypass it, but it is going to sound more like a car without a muffler. 28mm makes it sound a good amount over stock, but still doesnt make it that raspy, if your going to run 40mm you might as well weld the whole pipe straight in there and it will flow alot smoother

I was just thinking that my self it started off as a subtle mod, it'll be full blown drag pipes next but hey whatever floats your boat we can't all be the same otherwise life would be dull.
