I think there's a garage in Belhelvie that can do it called Cadgers, although I haven't gotten the mod done there I asked him about it and he said he would be up for doing it as long as I could get hold of some specific details on what pipe goes where (I presume a picture would suffice). If you do go there or find somewhere else that could do it then please share the information as I am also in Aberdeen :-)

Does removing the centre box not mess up emissions? Is this something that will need to be put back on/off everytime you need an MOT? I presume the cat stays on?

Has anyone asked Tom @ TGM if he is able to do this?

The catalytic converter has to be built in the car for emissions (M.O.T) the center box (resonator) is only for noise dampening. So emissions aren't affected. I did my Dutch M.O.T last Thursday and it passed without any advisories. It passed the emission test flawless!

^ what he said ^

I've got no mid box or helmholtz resonator. It's been that way for about two and a half years and I've had no problems with the MOT.

I'd speak to the exhaust fabricator or welder before you buy any pipe. I took some stainless steel pipe with me and they just used their own materials.
