I can't, I've not done the mod but would be interested in hearing it myself!

what about exhuast back pressure? Even the aftermarket systems retain a box, n/a cars usually need back pressure to help them work more efficiently turbos need straight throughs! Or is that box just there to keep the noise down?
Having too big an exhaust actually increases back pressure.

Has this done today and would recommend it.
Doesn't sound overly different but the car was quite loud with the FIPK anyway. By removing the centre box it's merely raised the sound somewhat but not by too much.
Also when letting off after giving it the beans, tends to make a rasping sound which, to be honest, not sure if I'm fond of yet. I'm sure it'll grow on me though

No engine needs back pressure.

No 4 stoke engine needs back pressure.
Non valved 2 stroke engines require an optimum amount of back pressure.
Or the fresh air/fuel mix will be ejected along with the exhaust gas during compression stroke.

So in your opinion do think its a bad idea removing the resonator, i dont see why not?.
The resonator is used to reduce sound but it also creates a slight bottle kneck - i cant see it doing much harm to performance and such?
