Exedy OEM replacement Clutch

Exedy OEM replacement Clutch
Hi all,
Since my clutch is the MY00 version, it has the buzz and I want to get it changed with the exedy oem replacement clutch (cheaper than OEM), heard it will cure the buzz, but I want to change the flywheel to an aftermarket lightweight one at the same time e.g. Spoon flywheel or other make, but heard that the aftermarket flywheel may cause problem or buzz?
Does anyone here have any experience with the exedy oem replacement clutch or oem clutch and lightweight flywheel combo??

I went from OEM clutch to various others, eventually settled on the full Spoon clutch, pressure plate and lightened flywheel and felt it was a perfect upgrade.
The only issue I ever had was revs dropping off very quickly when you put your foot on the clutch, this resulted in a few near stalls at traffic lights etc.
I then changed to the Spoon flywheel with Exedy clutch and hated how it made the clutch feel, very light and the pick up didn't seem quite as good when you floored the throttle. I wouldn't go for the standard Exedy clutch again. The main cost factor is in the labour so don't skimp on the clutch itself.

If the link you posted is the one in the states then work the figures out carefully and check with some of the UK ebay sellers, they will usually do deals

Because you then have no feeling when you drive the car and the take up of drive seemed slow.

As far as I know both the Spoon and Exedy are based on the 054 clutch.

I'm sure there was a slight buzz, never heard it over the Veilside / Spoon exhaust to be honest.
The main reason I'm changing the clutch is to cure the buzz, now I'm more confused...
