Default Excess pressure in brake MC?

Hi all, noticed recently that there is a small trail of brake fluid around the lip of my brake master cylinder (in and along the little ridge part that is half way down the mc), I wipe it up but it comes back again after a while. When I screw the cap down I can hear a pressure sound of air trying to escape like a slow bubbly sound. Also when I get in the car after it hasn't moved say overnight the brake pedal is solid before I start the car (no pumping) then it goes normal when the engine is running. Anybody have this?
