Default Evo magazine 009 July 1999 S2000

Hi Guys,

Im not sure if this has been uploaded before but ive scanned in today the S2000 article from the 1999 edition 009 of Evo.

Some might not have read it before but it comes to an interesting conclusion, debatable some would say and its interesting how opinions have changed over the years.

ps. im new here and have just recently acquired a 2004 Model S2K, enjoying it so far!

Download link below which will hopefully work for a while!

Evo have never liked the S2000, they do like BMW's though they seem to be BMW fan boi's and a like.

They have some points though.

I stopped reading Evo a long time ago, because it was a predictable/biased read IMO.

Great read. Many thanks for sharing that. Wow I can't believe how much Evo slate the S. 3 stars? They just didn't "get" the S.

I think the S (from 2004+) gets 4 stars now in their recent magazines! They must have realised how wrong they were.

They never really understood the S2000 at Evo but after a few minor updates they did up the rating to 4 stars.

bunch of tossers (yes I have met some of them)

I wouldn't use that rag as toilet paper and not because of dated S2000 reviews

it's the biased, puerile drivel that tends to grate

I have always found their "Car of the Year" winners to be rather questionable, and very predictable. Also they turned into an advert for Shell a few years back which was the final straw for me
