i cant help it , im a little amazed ,there are a few members that have acheived a 100k miles . can you tell me are you driving like saints ? do you have a relative working with bridgestone ? cos tyres wearing out at (well mine have anyway) 4.5k works out at about

Wow you must be keeping your foot well in to wear tyres out at 4500 miles! I have done 3000 miles including 2 trackdays and there is still about 6mm all round!

Even with the odd track use I would hope for 8-10K from a set of tyres on a car that weighs less than 1300kgs and has average torque.

I will look out for you drifting on the A465 roundabout on the way to work.

Someone on here used to reckon he got through them in 2000 miles - it was a company car -I was still slightly sceptical

I had Bridgestones SO2s on my old Chimaera and did my first set of rears in 1,100 miles ...

Needless to say I was a lot more circumspect thereafter, and managed to get 8k from each set.

The S's lower torque makes breaking traction at lower speeds more difficult so it's inevitably easier on tyres.

4.5k is a good effort though ...

so come on tell me ! who is getting the best milage and at what brand . i know its has lots of varibles ie driving styles ect ect but as were on a forum thats dedicated to one particular type of car there is at least one constant ,

14k for rears, 19k for fronts.

2nd S on RE050A:;
Not sure as they've only done 3k so far and don't look worn at all

Overly aggressive driving? Wearing out tyres quickly doesn't necessarily mean you're really fast.

4-5k seems excessive but I suppose it depends on how it's used.
