I put Q8 98 SUL in again this weekend...no joke this stuff is the absolute dogs!!!..........the exhaust note has a much harder edge to it....was noticeble immediately...and it's not my imagination as each time I fill up with this stuff the car drives differently
the only downside is that its nearly 90p a litre!!....anyone tried BP Ulimate?.......

Zero I am a big fan of Ultimate. Its not as dear as 90p a litre I think it comes in at around the 84p mark and I love it.
It's not as harsh as Optimax which can be a bit digital in response i.e. on / off absolute power and nothing in between. But that could be my driving. But I did the West Mids meet on Ultimate and had no probs keeping up with Scooby (well within reason) and sometimes left who were both on Optimax I believe.
If you can't find any anywhere, try the BP garage in Bagshot, which isn't too far away from u I know and if u are in those neck of the woods give me a shout and we can have a mini-mini-meet i.e. a beer.

Kelk...yeah I've got a couple of BP stations just nearby.......I stuck some Ulimate in the Audi as I was passing
Basically if BP Ultimate goes well in the S2000 I will convert simply because I can get Nectar points.....
thing is...no joke...this Q8 stuff is like friggin rocket fuel!!...the car felt as quick with a full load of fuel as it did on Esso SUL with only 5 litres left in the tank
As for mini-meet we need to organise one again in the Spring

Hmmm Q8 fuel kie rocket fuel.....hmmmmm
Q8 = Kuwait. Rocket fuel comes from rockets, as in used by the military.
Is Q8's fuel where Sadam hid the propellant for his weapons of mass destructionI ponder?
As for meeting up in Spring - yes definitely.
