Eps light on no power steering

Is their a way to test the steering sensor behind steering wheel.. as had engine out to service over winter i could have turned the wheel too much..

if your on about the clock-spring thats for the air bag and horn, check the connectors on the rack 2 of them and the speed sensor on the gearbox

Yh thats the one dave.. read that in can throw an error if its rotated too far by breaking the wire?

that will have no effect on eps if it was broken, it would put the airbag light on

Fixed this guys..
checked the genuine honda tech manual my friend has, it pointed me to check voltage.. then checked belts and saw a small tear. Then checked idler pulley and was not free moving as it should.. re greased and a new belt and voltage up to 14.4 and power steering has returned..

Great news!

Greasing the tensioner bearing may only be a temporary fix. There's a fairly recent thread regarding replacing that bearing with an readily available part vs replacing the whole assembly for lots of $ £. Worth investigating. Along with a new belt.

New pulley and belt is already on order.. thanks for everyone thats helped..
