Hi people me and a friend are in the planning stages of going on a euro road trip in the s2000 and i thought i would post are route on here and ask for your guys advice on it . i imagine a lot of people on here have done road trips in there s2k and any help and advice will be great, on routes off the motorway and good places to stop ect on the way. Also epic road choices would be good too . thanks in advance for your help!

Well your route seems to involve you spending a lot of time on tedious motorways so it would help if you say where you intend to stay and for how long. If you let me know that I can provide you with some useful input as I am very familiar with all the areas you will be driving through.

By sticking to the motorways you're missing the best bits between Lucerne & Logano (but you do take in the St Gottard Tunnel - VTEC Heaven ) .

Ping me a 'PM' and I'll give you a few routes and passess.

You also need to take part in the Golden Eye Bungee jump at the Contra Dam as you pass close by

that's not going to be very "epic"
Avoid Belgium as well, crap roads and full of nutters
You need to decide what you want out of the trip, ticking boxes or enjoying the "journey"
Limit yourself to 250-300 miles on days you want to enjoy the driving
I've just got back from an aborted trip (shit weather and car trouble)
We got a 07:20 train and were in the SW alps for 7PM!
Tedious drive on the Mways (sanef tag is a good idea) but it got us to the alps in a day

thanks for the input guys the pictures look insane! as for the driving route what would you guys suggestions be? i want some awesome roads to drive on and im not really worried about motorway driving but i obviously have a time limit. belgium is not a must really the whole trip is based around monaco so if someone has a better idea of routes it would be much appreciated

You need to give us an idea of overall time for your trip and where you want to stay on route. With this info we can give you some good advice. Without it we're pi**ing into the wind.
