English service record book
I have an EU import arriving in a few weeks. I have been told the supplying dealer cannot get a service record book in English. Can I get one here, send it to the supplying dealer and have it stamped?

That is a good question that someone needed to ask.
Having never seen one be it in English or Dutch I have no idea. If it is anything like my Ford Focus service record book it may as well be written in Venusian for all the information it gives.
I was just asking if one can be obtained, and if so how.

The owners manual will be in English. The service book IIRC just has the empty boxes for the pdi and service stamps.
I believe someone obtained one by contacting Honda U.K. directly to register their car, don't know about getting the pdi stamp put in there, you'd have to speak to the supplying E.U. dealer.
IMHO once you get into the drivers seat you will not care about this

When I received my car, I also got the EU service book. All you need to do is pop into your local dealership and have them order a UK service for you. It will cost about

Thanks people. Just what I wanted to know. Usual quick, incisive, authorative and helpful responses.
The message is generally: there is little in the book anyway; once I have the car I will not care; and if I do care then I can get one anyway and get it stamped up by the original dealer.
I was contemplating getting one before the car was PDId so the original stamp went into an English book. But now I think I will wait and see.
To avoid any muppetry I am closing this thread now.
Thanks again to all who responded.
