Engine on shutdown
Im not sure if this is just something in my head, but their seems to be a 'clunking' noise when i shut the car off.
The engine is silent on idle so i doubt its anything serious.
Does anyone else's car make a noise on shutdown?

Yeah i get this, sounds like the pistons slapping around to me. Both my S2ks did this and are still going so I think it might just be one of those things.

These are noisy clunky cars (not quite as bad as the DC2 but not far away. If I'm feeling paranoid my ATR can have a hundred problems on a 5 mile journey. It's amazing the difference a lack of sound deadening makes. The S2000 sounds like a rattly bag of nails with the roof up compared to modern cars.
On the flip side, I'd probably been pottering around in our BMW for weeks with a broken spring but only noticed the noise when I cracked a window open last week.

That rattling noise on mine turned out to be the vac lines rattling rattling against the X brace in the engine bay - but as above ... it's a noisy car, especially if you listen out for stuff
