Default Engine Oil

all,

Just been watching Top Gear repeats on Dave & I spotted this.

Anyone got any experience of this company, or got any thoughts on this ?

All comments welcome.

Thanks.

Hi Bharat

I had a quick look and there is no mention of what standards it conforms to. That would worry me a bit.

I guess I would ask myself why take any risk when there are proven oils out there for the S?

Good point Mark.

I guess what caught my eye was the 'lifetime engine warranty' that they were offering !

Yah it's probably one of those tricks where you would have to prove it was the oil which caused a failure, which is generally unlikely!

I'd offer the same warranty on the oils I develop too.

Proving an oil caused a engine failure would be near impossible.

I put your oil in my engine two years ago, and somehow it's all gone and my engine went pop, so that means it's your fault!

I was pretty baffled (excuse the pun) by how this warranty would work too. Think I'll be avoiding testing any of their claims.
