Default Engine clean advice needed

After all the clutches ive had fitted and two services my red rocker cover is looking a bit grubby. Has anyone got any hands on experience of cleaning this? if so could you share your wisdom with me please. Thanks in advance.

a wash solution made up of dish detergent and a heavy duty microfibre cloth ought to do the trick.

AutoGlym do an engine degreaser too and Zymol do a nice product called Strik for the same purpose but see how you go with the soapy water first.

You are lucky that it is only a bit grubby. I had mine replaced, because it was so scratched. I complained about all the grubby hand prints everywhere .... next time they left a pile of copper grease on the airbox cover

I find WD40, wiped off with a soft cloth, does a good job on the rocker cover.
