I just tried to add a 'Filter (non-standard)' to my policy and it let me go all the way to giving me a quote for the extra on my premium (

TBH the assesors wouldn't know stock from non-oem part if it punched them in the face.

Just retrofit the stock if you have a smash or if thats not possible just don`t mention it.

They'll never know the difference.

IIRC Kelk's insurance company needed proof that his PRM was fitted by a garage; needed a fax on headed paper confirming it.
