Hmm, the original HU in the S2000 was an Alpine unit, which then changed to Pioneer (perhaps in 2002). Perhaps the supplier made the wrong assumption regarding which HU you had?

They knew i had the '99 S, so thats what made me wonder about what head unit
i've actually got. Just to clarify the changer plug is round, the ipod cable is rectangular.
Also my head unit is radio and cassette with cd changer function... if that makes a difference!?
Does anybody know if i'd be able to get a converter cable?
