ECU
i have read on the us forums about many people putting 02/03 ecu's into their 00/01 cars. many have said it gives a big imporvement. well i have managed to source an 05 ecu and was wondering if it will work on my 00 car???
i went to honda to check the part numbers on different ecu's and here is what i have found out:-
honda s2000 - 2002
part no. 37820-pcx-g01

Each different ECU is slightly different in MAP, which is better is purely what you class as better.
Emissions, power etc etc ??
I have 53 plate engine (so MY02 I would guess) with MY00 ECU, difference ?? I don't know, it works, difference vice versa ??

Im not convinced by this, did you pick it up from this thread?https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...&f=25&t=381840
Certainly not worth the effort if you cant gaurantee it will work. It would be better to do it properly and buy an aftermarket ECU I would say.
