I ran greenstuff on the front of my westy - they were rubbish, worse than "ordinary" ferodo cortina pads TBH.

If you want decent pads look no further than Pagids IMO. (although I don't really see the point on a roadcar as stock ones seem more than up to the job of road driving)

on both counts.

Had Greenstuff pads on my Locost for one practice session, they faded so much I borrowed some std. Ford-fit Ferodos for the race, they worked better from cold and didn't fade as much as the Greenstuffs.

And it's fluid boiling that affects me on trackdays, not pads.

Thanks for your advice, think i'll avoid using anything EBC.

s2uk - Like the look of DBA discs and Mintex pads, good price too. I take it you've had no problems with them?
having only had them on the car for 10 days before it was hit i found the brakes loads better, had to bed them in for a few miles just going slow on the braking but much better response.

well worth the money, unless your going to go for the major disc up grade these suited fine.

I did a list for my insurance company three days before crash and they OK'ed it without much of a problem, gave them copies of receipts and the only thing they came back with was what performance increase did the HKS give and i said none.

I wouldnt touch EBC at all the sales guy i spoke to said its crap what they sell, not good for long term road use. and he works for the company, reason he does money thats it, it pays his bills but from what he saw he assurred me its crap.

Sorry I dont get this. me11jh YOU SHOULD NOT BE USING GREENSTUFF PADS ON YOUR S2000.... why is this hard for people to understand. And then to base an opinion of the company on the mis-use of one of there products is stupid.
I have no opinion of EBC, I said IF this was what all there products are like. I would try them again on the recommendation of others but would not buy greenstuff again, for any vehicle.

I didnt know I wasn't supposed to use greenstuff on the S. I thought if EBC thought they were good enough to make them for the S they would be good enough to use. Or are the brakes on the S the same as those on another Honda and that is why they are available

I had greenstuff for the prelude and was very dissapointed (ordered directly through EBC so no worries if they were right for the car or not) then had them upgraded to redstuff FOC as the greens were so bad.

After a proper bedding in period they were starting to work well, if not very dusty, then during a spirited bit of driving I had flames coming from the wheels as the red paint on the pads was actually on fire. Hmm, don't think i'll be buying them again !!

Prelude now has black diamond all round !!
