that userid doesn't have the hardtop listed against him under feedback..

have you left feedback??

I guessed OMGV hadn`t rated him yet, ie waiting for resolution. I am sure there'll be something on there soon if it doesn't go well

I would be interested to see if the seller is helpful or just hiding. The fact it is on here as 'scammer' is either emotion or fact from the poster.

that phone number is a London number.

Did you get that information from ebay or from the shipping documentation?

I'm not sure how you can do a chargeback - you got the goods

I appreciate that the condition and method of shipping weren't up to snuff, but I'm not sure the CC will refund your cash without you returning the top tbh.

If the transcation was caried out using email ..... i.e. you have emails stating that the carriage was insured and by crate and that the fitting kit was included as part of the sale then you shouldn't have a problem getting the money back from the CC company.
