Did you use a credit card for the paypal transaction?

If so, I would do a chargeback as the paypal complaints procedure is a waste of time from my experience.

I feel for you mate.

I think I'd be on to my credit card company also and try to put the payment into dispute. Good luck, hope you get it sorted

Omgvtec,
have you spoke to 'Micheal' the seller about this? What was his view on the situation? Is he being evasive?

Did he have a good ebay rating? Was this out of character from his Ebay history.

The Paypal dispute process can work, it has for me once. It is slow and convoluted. They seem hellbent on making life hard for both parties in the dispute.

Just looked at his rating. He is only a '1' rated Ebayer. He bought something back in 02, thats it. No sells at all.

He has been a member for nearly 4 years though. Is this one of a number of accounts set up a long time ago for this purpose I wonder?

Hmmm....ratings do not look great tbh.
