I did have washers Till I had it removed since I changed my bumper. I guess decision now is whether I fork out £90 from Halfrauds or reschedule MOT and order new bulbs online

I'll have to see what's on your car first lol...

I'd test everything first and let you know what's wrong and what you've got on your car

If they are HID's then they are D2S bulbs and I don't think I have any but I'll have a look

My experience is that the ballast goes before the bulbs do. But admittedly that isn't experience from my s2k.

You can buy a complete kit with ballasts and new bulbs for about £70 online though. Halfords can take a running jump!!

I remember when HIDs were new - on the Omega particularly, and the key issue was that they cost £1200 when the bulb went.
