Default Dyno Chart From My Standard S2000 ('99 Japanese)

Hi All,

I thought I'd post this up just in case anyone is interested.
I was up in the Chieveley area yesterday at Gidley Farm, and popped in to see my old mate Jez Horsham after concluding some other business.
He asked if I minded putting my car on his dyno, just so he could have a reference of a standard car.
(I say standard, but i have no idea of what might have been done to it in Japan).
Well, who would say no?

As we should all know, it's just for reference.
Some people say his dyno reads too low, I care very little as long as my car is performing at a good level for its specification.
They really do make a good noise when your stood next to them as they go through the rev range

I have an ATW plot too, if anyone wants me to I'll post that one up too.

Looks about right to me ATF. S2000s don't make 240bhp imo, not on a credible dyno anyway!

Post up the ATW too.

You would need 99/100 RON fuel to get the max bhp from a JDM car btw.

I'll bear that in mind next time I'm up there, these were on Shell's pump finest.

You can see it went a bit leaner for a run.
We popped the bonnet for a while, turned it off/on and hey presto, it was back to usual.

I'd say that's healthy for an unmodified car on a DD dyno

Glad you think so too, I'm happy with the car just as it is right now.

PS the green single run is leaner rather than richer, hence you got a higher power figure.

Will fix original post so as not to mislead (and to slightly mask my mistake)

They seem like good figures, my 08 got 218 with induction and cat back at DMS, and that dyno tells the truth and was at the higher end of what Dixon had seen he said. I'd be happy with what you got
