I recently bought a pair of Puma Klim's which are basically a flat soled trainer.

Not only are they well made, comfortable and fashionable ; they are a perfect driving shoe.

The sole is exactly the size of your foot, akin in style to the type of shoes racing drivers use, which i've found allows better pedal 'feel' and quicker manoeuvrability in the foot well. An added bonus is that since the sole is made of a completely flat grippy rubber compound, there is less chance of dirt getting stuck to the soles of your feet and transfering into the car.

Highly recommended as a way of furthering your ing pleasure!!

Puma Speedcats are good too. I've come close to buying some on a couple of occasions, but have always been a bit mindful that people might think I'm some sort of Schumacher-wannabe tosser if I was to start wearing racing boots, given my own meagre driving talents

I don't think I drive well enough to get away with that sort of thing.

Craig, if you do find yourself hankering for a pair of Speedcats, try BookATrack's website - they have a vareity of colour combos available, including a beigey/brown and white combo.

Ta Mark. Had a look - BookaTrack have sold out of size 10 in my favoured styles. I actually like this style (which I didn't spot on the bookaTrack website):

Be careful lads - too much talk about "shoes" and "colour" and you might get mistaken for a TT driver
