Driving with no oil cap on

Hmmm... the oil filter can work its way loose as well as the oil cap!!! I'll be keeping that in mind as well!!! Cheers.

you must have a left handed oil cap then!
every time i try to top my oil up, it's 10 times tighter than when i did it up last time!
every honda i've worked on has been the same - tight as a nut!

apart from the one time i did forget to put the cap back on completely. left on the skuttle tray.
went for a summer drive and giggled when i smelt oil thinking someone will be grinding to a holt due to lack of oil. a bit further up the road i hit traffic and the smell returned. the coin dropped and i dont remember refitting the oil cap

I have a right thumping session trying to get mine off sometimes.
