Ed - I've booked a track day @ Oulton Park 7/7 with tuition. S2KUK discount as well!
Got a link?
Sounds like it might be just right for me.

Has seeing Burnie in action prompted this
Just face up to the fact that you're a mortal, and will never be able to compete with his driving stunts
Give up now and save yerself a few $$$

Feck no! Something i've been meaning to do for a long time. Now seems as good a time as any. Bit of spare bunce etc. France made me realise i could have pushed a bit harder in places with better technique.

How to drive properly
The IAM is cheap, it is a charitry that encourages good road driving, the main point for me was they taught me better observation, oh and most insurance companies recognise them so you will get a discount on your insurance renewal.

Depends upon your aims.
I'd personally first get sorted on general roadcraft and awareness, ie IaM, Rospa, ride Drive etc.
Secondly, if you are interested (and I know you are) get some personal tuition on a track. I would do it in your own car, be that at something like the 1st Lotus day. Or do a track day + min 20 mins tuition with a pro driver.
Oh-I've seen first hand your driving (overtake & Merc driver )
