Drilling out brake disc screws - question
#11
When I messed up the screws on mine I used an old wood chisel, pointing anticlockwise,on the edge of the screw with one or two gentle taps and they came unwound easy, messed the screw up some more but did the the job

I normally borrow the butane crème brûlée blow torch from the kitchen (shhh, just between you and me ) you can get a good amount of heat out of one of those and normally helps free up seized things - so heat the remaining screw stub up a couple of times and it'll probably screw out with some pliers or mole grips.

No load on these so replace with stainless steel screws M6 CSK X 15mm , and preferably socket head.
I had one that needed the lot drilling out with a 4.5mm drill and then run a tap through to clean the thread

Once they are out, new ones from a motor factor (or even Halfords) a bit of copper slip on the new ones and don't even do them up to bite, just to sit, the wheel nuts and studs will do the rest, the screws are only there to stop the disc falling off with the wheel off.
