Not saying thats not true ( oh yes you are ) but the S2000 is very hard to hold a sustained Drift, we are not talking about a short 'Power Slide' but real sustained long drifts with direction changes.

"The team also ran into issues with the weight of the S2, which is really centered because of the engine position and fuel tank, both of which are positioned more toward the passenger cabin. "It's very twitchy," he continues,
Read the article - To be fair I'm not talking about sustained drifts either, maybe 50-80m and I'm not talking about changing direction without having the car fully under control before the next turn either - so sorry if I mislead.

As much as the car is twitchy when cold or wet, I knew of several places on a warm day I could perform more than just a powerslide.

Drive safe kids.

I don't think this car is meant for drifting. I tried to drift it many times on the walshy day with s02s and most times ended up facing the other way if I tried to hold it (maybe its easier with s03s on a 05 car). Just getting the back end out and correcting with some opposite lock was easy though. It was very easy to induce it also by going hard upto the cone in 2nd then dabbing the brake with the left foot and only using 1000revs of throttle to correct it. In contrast there was an m3 there that had no problems at all, those things can drift all day long I think amazing cars.

Drifting is fairly easy. Keeping control is another matter!!!!!!
Remember it's a smooth motion and jerky movements will only see you fishtail, over run and hit curbs or see you facing the way you just come.
Do it write and you'll see peoples jaws drop, do it wrong and you'll see motorist trying to avoid you with raised fingers.

Have fun.
