Default Double sided GATSO

Has anyone else seen any of these? One has been installed on the A259 coast road, heading Eastbound from Brighton near Telscombe cliffs, very near my fave restaurant, the Thai Elephant II.

It is in the middle of the road, and has a lens and flash on each side, so apparently covering both sides of the road

I'm just wondering if this is genuine, or a normal 1-way facing GATSO with a dummy lens and flash stuck on the back? Don't fancy personally testing this.

It's on a hill, so the angle seems to allow both sides to aim properly at the road.

Double GATSO is not a good thing. Is the road particularly dangerous, or is it just revenue collection?

I can't believe it is a particularly dangerous stretch, as it is always fairly busy, and not far from a roundabout.

Haven't noticed any warning signs.

Looks like it's genuine

THE DOUBLE-SIDED GATSO
This is a derivative of the fixed-installation post as described above.
The difference is that the camera box is mounted in the central reservation of a road instead of at the side.

I have seen a similar effort near Bournemouth .

One of them IS false , but it makes you think. If you look carefully , the false one is actually pointing skybound rather than to the road .
