Default Door Seal

My passenger door roof seal seams to be collecting water. Sometimes when I hit high speeds it gets entrained inside and drips on the seat. Worse still, if I drop the roof after a spell of rain I get about 10ml straight on the passenger/seat!! Do the seals need to be replaced or is it just a case of lining something back up? Think they were only replaced about a year ago so assuming they must be ok at the moment.

Shin Etsu is the Honda recommended silicone based grease. Seals should be lubed with it twice a year.

Also check the following after attending to seal lube:

Check Hood makes good contact with seal on top of windscreen.

The seal in at the top of the screen where it joins the side window is complex. Check these are not deformed. There is a rubber insert in them. Check that it's positioned correctly on the leaky side by reference to the non leaky side.

Check the window contacts the seal evenly all round. Easy to see after you grease the seals. There is some adjustment possible by the dealer if it does not but you normally need to point it out to them. How to do it has been posted on here and it is in the workshop manual.

Check seals for obvious splits and cracks
