Does the heated rear window switch illuminate?

Does the switch illuminate with the lights on? Mine lights up when pressed but otherwise it doesn't. I think the bulb has blown and needs replacing. Are they simple to remove? Lift the centre console and pull switch out?

You should be able to remove the switch (push from the rear) with little difficulty.
From there, I would have thought that you can see the lamp on the side of it. Removing it will be a little fiddly, but can be done with a paperclip, or something similarly small but rigid
As for finding another lamp, I'm not sure where to obtain one, but you can import LEDs from the states. Check out Squeak's Qube thread for details...or ask Fester

Yes it does light up. As far as i remember mine when i removed my center console you cannot see the bulb of the switch. If you look underneeth you can only see the socket where the wiring from the car plugs in. I suspect you have to find a way to diassemble the whole switch to reach the bulb, if it is a bulb and is not a LED light. If it is a bulb then you will be able to find everywhere a spare to replace it. If it is a led then i suspect it will be more difficult job and it will need unsoldering and soldering the new LED

I can't remember if the heated window / mirror switch takes a normal bulb or not or if it's the roof switch that's the custom one.
Either way Honda will be pennies for the part so don't mess about with Halfrauds.

I've got lots of blown "bulbs" - engine start, roof, rear screen heater, headlam washers.
They're a specific type of LED in a little mount. If you do a search for replacing dash bulbs, or something similar, there's a great long post that includes pics and part numbers.
